2025 Group Runs
This year, we’re offering two weekends of group runs!
Each day is labelled with a difficulty level but it’s important to note that all of our runs require some trail running experience. They’re taken at a sociable and considerate pace. It’s a chance to explore new areas, meet new people and take in some lovely views, they’re not a race! Group sizes are up to 15 people.
We also specialise in custom planned trips, tailored to your individual or groups needs, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask us more.
August 2025
The Fringe is here! Are you visiting Edinburgh during its iconic festival season but also fancy fitting in a run? Look no further.
Saturday 9th: 10km, 500 metres elevation
Sunday 10th: 14km, 200-300metres elevation
This weekend encompasses beautiful views covering the west and east side of the Pentlands, maximising your exploring time. It’s perfect for someone who has not long started trail running but has road running experience. Both routes start from car parks roughly 1-2km from bus stops, and we will always do our bit for the environment and car share.
Depending on the day, we will stop at a local cafe run by Loganlea fishery on day 2. On both days, we will be finished before lunchtime, meaning you can make all your fringe shows for later in the day!
Level - Day 1 intermediate, Day 2 beginner
£40 per run or £70 for both days
October 2025
Saturday 4th: 18km, 800 metres elevation
This 18km run explores the 5 rolling hills; West Kip, East Kip, Scald Law, Carnethy Hill and Turnhouse Hill. With an elevation gain of around 800 metres in total, it is challenging at times. From the top, you get amazing views across the whole Pentlands, over to Fife and of course, Edinburgh. Passing Glencourse, Harlaw and Threipmuir reservoir. The route starts from a car park roughly 1-2km from bus stops, and we will always do our bit for the environment and car share.
